Japan and South Korea are likely to buy gas Indonesia offshore fields
According to the Jakarta post reported on May 4, Indonesia traditional buyers of liquefied natural gas (LNG) Japan, South Korea and China Taiwan province is very likely to buy in makassar strait Jangkrik Indonesia offshore fields gas field production, the field of the operators is the Italian oil giant eni.
Indonesia temporary upstream regulator SKKMigas officials told the Jakarta post in Jakarta on Thursday, said eni SKKMigas nowadays supervision company and the field gas ongoing discussions with other potential buyers.
Although declined to comment on the future the name of the buyer, but, he says, Indonesia's traditional LNG buyer is likely to buy from Jangkrik field of natural gas.
The official said in a telephone interview, Japan, South Korea and China Taiwan province is one of the traditional buyers, however, the discussion is still in progress.
Indonesia is the world's third largest LNG exporter, behind Qatar and Malaysia.
