Liquid chlorine business looking for market opportunities

Dow chemical said is studying how to find the market for liquid chlorine downstream business opportunities.
 
CEO Andrew Liveris said is considering a joint venture, divestitures, and even closing device to improve the return on capital of the industry.
 
Dow chemical Asia and Latin America and function of plastic material, executive vice President James Fitterling held in London on Thursday ubs Bestof Americas investor conference made some explanation.
 
Fitterling said the company is "from the Angle of strategy," treat dichloride ethane, vinyl chloride and global chlorinated organic compounds.
 
He said the company believes that there are many people who are interested, you can use in electrochemical devices and low cost in the gulf of Mexico dow and ethylene integration, if we can become a part of the dow integration, they will feel very have an advantage.
 
Dow wasn't sure when the liquid chlorine downstream decide, but whatever the result is, doesn't mean that dow will exit the liquid chlorine industry.
